What it is

A short, single-purpose consent and release form for people who appear in event content. Each attendee signs to consent to being filmed and photographed and to the brand and creator using that content in marketing. It is deliberately brief — a form an attendee can read and sign in under a minute.

What’s inside

  • Attendee details and the event: who is signing and which event and brand the release covers.
  • Consideration and consent to capture: what the attendee receives, and consent to being filmed, photographed and recorded.
  • Consent to use: use of the attendee’s name, image, likeness and voice in marketing.
  • Moral rights and release: consent to editing and combining the footage, and a release of claims within the limits of the ACL.
  • No obligation to post: but an obligation for clear advertising disclosure where they do and a right to reshare the post.

How easy it is to use

  • One page. Fill in the event details once and collect a signature from each attendee.
  • Works at the door on paper or by digital link before the event.
  • No legal drafting — just the event details and a signature.

Who this is for

  • Brands hosting launches, activations and influencer events where content is captured
  • Creators filming events or group content at their own functions
  • Event producers and agencies who need releases collected on the day

Problems it may help you avoid

  • The risk of using event footage where an attendee never consented to appear.
  • A guest who spoke on camera later objecting to the content running as paid media.
  • Moral rights objections when event content is edited or repurposed.
  • Chasing consent after the event, when the footage is already needed.
  • Advertising non-disclosure issues.
