What it is

A content supply agreement for a single user-generated content commission. The creator produces content to the brand’s brief, the brand pays for it, and the brand owns it by full assignment. The creator does not post it — the brand uses it however it wants. It is the right document when the brand wants to own and control the content outright, not just licence it.

What’s inside

  • Content brief and deliverables: what the creator produces, in what format and by when.
  • Full assignment of copyright: the brand owns the content outright, not just a licence.
  • Working files and moral rights consent: raw files on request, and consent so the brand can edit and adapt freely.
  • Fee and invoicing: payment terms, GST and invoicing structure.
  • Warranties: the creator’s promises about originality, third-party rights and the right to assign.

How easy it is to use

  • Fill in Part A with the content brief, fee and delivery details. Prompts guide each field.
  • No posting logistics to manage — this is a content supply and ownership deal.
  • Electronic signing supported; reuse for every UGC order.

Who this is for

  • Brands commissioning UGC they want to own and use in their own marketing
  • Creators supplying content to a brand without posting it themselves
  • Agencies commissioning UGC on behalf of brand clients

Problems it may help you avoid

  • Not receiving the raw or working files you need to edit and repurpose.
  • Moral rights objections when the brand edits or reuses the content.
  • Uncertainty over whether the creator had the right to hand the content over and how the brand can use it.
  • Disputes over revisions.
